I want to see the Munsters if possible.
NLoganOct 30, 2014View

I used itself as the object of the verb refers because oddly enough no one ever asked the gender. Himself or herself would be the most correct grammatically; to avoid them I probably should have used themself, but it is not always recognized as a word (their self is better as in all by their self) and themselves was plural. Either way now that we know the character is not human itself applies better anyways. Nice catch.
As to gender, in stating it was a villain and not a villainess I may have indicated it already. The character has appeared as both male and female, but is predominantly male and the literary source has both sexes as well.

NLoganOct 30, 2014View
