| 7551 | Theme & Amusement Parks | Okay... so here are my thoughts on this...

I've seen the documentary "Blackfish", and naturally it's an extremely one-sided film (as are most documentaries). While I feel like Sea World is not completely innocent in this, I certainly don't feel like the incidents that occur there are "all their fault".

For starters, these trainers surely know the risks involved. I mean, they are called "KILLER WHALES" after all!!!
It's like expecting no problems taking your pet T-Rex out for a stroll only to have him decide to "play" with you one day.

Secondly, where do we draw the line in assessing whether or not a job is just TOO risky? I work with propane. Propane blows up if you don't handle it right. Should we just not ever handle it then?

I don't know, I say if the trainer is willing to risk life and limb to play in the water with animals 500 times heavier than them with a mouth full of sharp teeth, then hey... have at it. Just don't expect a whole lot of anger to be directed at your employers for YOUR choices.

But, I still don't know where I fall here. Somewhere in the middle I suppose. How about you?

| Vaporman87 | Apr 12, 2014 | ![]() |
| 7550 | David Letterman is retiring next year. | I've known about him since his days with The Daily Show. I don't think he is any more funny than Letterman. Possibly less. | Vaporman87 | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |
| 7549 | David Letterman is retiring next year. | I've known about him for nearly a decade. | Mr Magic | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |
| 7548 | David Letterman is retiring next year. | The colbert report is great, it's a shame it will end. How could you people not be familiar with him? | Jrs1991 | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |

| 7545 | Community's G.I. Joe themed episode | Hey sorry I'm late, I was busy last Thursday and had to DVR this one. Finally got around to watching it last night.

This episode was fantastic. There was a lot of making fun of the old cartoon, but I could see it came from a place of love. Almost all of the plot was animated in faithful style, and the fake commercials were good.

Overall this was a very good and funny episode, and maybe the best intro for a new viewer since Basic Rocket Science (S02E04).
| shakin steak | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |

I might consider checking out at least one of the GBA titles on the Wii U... most likely one I don't already own the original cartridge to.
| blueluigi | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |
| 7543 | David Letterman is retiring next year. |
I'm not familiar with Colbert's show. I've never seen it. My cousin is a big fan of his and recommended the show to me. Maybe I'll just watch an episode online just out of curiosity. But I do like his Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor.
| pikachulover | Apr 11, 2014 | ![]() |
