45741The Café
I'm a little worried right now. My ankle and foot is swollen pretty bad. Doesn't really hurt, but it is noticeable. I don't know what caused this. I had a massive charlie horse in the same leg a couple of nights before it started, so I think it might be a muscle strain. However, I am a little worried it might be something more serious.

As of right now I am just putting it up and hoping it goes away. If it continues into the next few days I'll have to go to the doctor.
Rick Ace RhodesJul 06, 2020View
45740Hand in Hand - 1960

It has taken me some time to identify the Rolls Royce that appeared in the movie. At the time that "Hand in Hand" was filmed, all Rolls Royce automobiles were custom built "one-offs". No two cars were alike, even if the same body was selected from the same coachbuilder.

The photo above is the 1955 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Empress Tourine Limousine, by Hooper & Co. of Westminster, London.

Hooper & Co, was the "Royal Coachmaker", their constructions usually reserved for the Diamler Motorcar of the British Monarchy. However, the "Empress" bodystyle was so popular that Hooper & Co. would custome build bodies for other makes of fine cars, like Rolls Royce.

The Silver Wraith Empress Tourine Limousine that appears in the moive is an unbelievevably expensive automobile and very formal in appearance.
eddstarrJul 06, 2020View
