| 42633 | Last Movie You Watched | much like vapor, i too saw endgame tonight. it had plenty of emotional moments and had its funny moments when appropriate for the mood. i just wasn't expecting to be misty eyed near the end. much like how a lot of people have joked about on social media you'll definitely want to take it easy on the beverages so you don't miss anything with a bathroom break. | Benjanime | Apr 29, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42632 | Cartoon programming block |
For me, it was the after school block of He-Man, GI Joe, and Transformers.
| Vaporman87 | Apr 28, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42631 | Last Movie You Watched |
@jkatz: Not yet watched Shazam!, but I plan to.

Avengers: Endgame

I watched this epic this afternoon, and enjoyed it. It was a very nice conclusion to this huge story arc that has taken place through all the Marvel films so far. All the characters are treated well, and the ending was both satisfying and bittersweet. Well worth the price of admission. No spoilers here. You’ll just have to watch the film.

4.5/5

| Vaporman87 | Apr 28, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42630 | Cartoon programming block | When I was really young I used to watch Fox Kids and Kids' WB. Later on I got into Toonami after my family finally got a cable package that included Cartoon Network.

I also watched Fox Kids sequel block FoxBox. I think that was really the last children's block I got into. I don't remember watching anything else.
| Rick Ace Rhodes | Apr 28, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42629 | Last Movie You Watched | I recently watched the Neverending Story Trilogy....yes, there was a 3rd movie in 1996 starring the kid from Free Willy.

The first two movies are great, the second loses some of the magic and charm of the first but still decent. The 3rd was a bizarre mess where the bully (Jack Black) get his hands on the book and starts controlling Fantasia. The movie abounds with bad jokes and a really bizarre Falcor and sadly no Atreyu.
| vkimo | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42628 | The Café |
@jkatz: Sorry to hear that, man. But she can’t stay mad forever. As a parent, I’m sure she’ll come to realize that a simple argument is not worth risking your well-being over. At least I would think so
| Vaporman87 | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42627 | The Café | So I lost my health insurance earlier this week :/

I should still be covered under my mom's plan because I have a registered disability. So it's something she should be able to look into. No big deal, right? Except we had a huge fight the other day. And now the last thing she wants to do is help me.

I mean, I'm not sick or anything so I'm not worried, but it sucks how inconvenient the timing is. Feels like something out of a Seinfeld or Curb episode.
| jkatz | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42626 | Last Movie You Watched | Anybody else see Shazam! besides me?
I know, I know, it's a DC movie... but this one's lighthearted and funnier than most. It almost feels like the movie Big with superpowers. I give it eight superhero shirts out of ten.
| jkatz | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42624 | Random Videos Thread |
could you imagine going to see this movie in theaters during your childhood?

| Benjanime | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
| 42623 | The Café | I had an interesting night. My mom's best friend came up to visit. She's like an aunt because that's just how close her and my mother are. It's been about five years since we've last seen her. We've all just been too busy to make time.

She's moving down south over the weekend so she wanted to see us one last time before the move. It was nice catching up with her. She's lived in the old neighborhood I grew up in since shortly after my family moved us out of there almost ten years ago. A lot has changed. One of my childhood best friends now has their own kid. Another is managing a supermarket. Another two are no longer there and have all but vanished off the face of the earth.

You may lose contact with people over the years, but it's always nice to hear how they are doing.
| Rick Ace Rhodes | Apr 27, 2019 | ![]() |
