I was a helper one summer. I prefer warehouse jobs though. I loaded trucks at RPS and later UPS, then refurbished old computers, then picked orders in a produce warehouse. (there was some retail stuff in between those) The produce place was crazy. 14 hours a day sometimes. If a normal day is 10,000 steps I would guess it was well over ten times that on Thursdays. I liked the work and I was very good at it (one guy called me Mr. 60... most guys pulled around 20 or 25) but I didn't do anything but work and sleep.</div><div><br></div><div>I know another guy who's a mover. He's also my tattoo guy. One day he needed help for an in-town move so he called me up. I watched that bastard just snatch up a whole typeset cabinet by himself and walk it off the truck and into the house. A big one and it was full of all the brass letters. Me and the other friend working for one day couldn't budge the thing two of us together. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Pointless eating has been a big thing for me too. Realizing the difference between eating for hunger and eating for no good reason (or just because omg this unhealthy thing tastes SO GOOD) has helped me reduce the intake.
