I think the bigger reason though is just how important the Christmas season is to businesses and the economy at large. It's the biggest spending time of the year, and is so vital that it essentially sets the tone for the rest of the year.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>It doesn't help that Thanksgiving just can't compete in this department.
