I found the sequel to be too kooky and nonsensical. But it was still way better than the last two that Schumacher directed

One of the Drive-In flicks of my childhood. I remember the awesome half page poster in the paper. Three heads stacked on each other. I looked at it off and on all day just waiting until we could leave for the movies. Later I would get the comic book adaptation. My neighbor friend, Beth, sat her wet but on it after a day on the boat. I was so mad. But I got over it. I think..

Batman Returns has some incredible production value- the sets, costumes, and fight scenes look amazing. 

However, there is A LOT of unneccessary adult content in this movie that ruins it in my opinion. Penguin is way too over the top gross/creepy. Catwoman is great but both her transformation and her "death" make me cringe. This movie easily could have been Rated R, I think there is even an F-bomb. 

The film is a tonal mess, it's like mixing skittles with hot fudge syrup and all you get is an upset stomache. 

Michelle Pffeifer said in an interview her only regret about doing the movie was not keeping the Catwoman suit.

this one is actually my favorite batman movie

I loved it growing up.
