| 44640 | McDonald's | <p>Our local McDonald's only recently removed their playground (though it wasn't nearly as cool as the ones you have pictured) and totally remodeled the place to match the sterile, medical facility-esque design that so many McD's are going to. It was pretty sad really.</p> <p>At one time, our McD's was really cool and unique. The interior and exterior more closely resembled the classic McD's, and featured a train track embedded in the ceiling with a working train (to commemorate the location of the McD's being on top of an old train station). It featured an ice cream bar with hand-dipped Breyer's ice cream and fresh made waffle cones, and was the last location in America to offer pizza (which was actually quite good).</p> <p>Now it is so modernized it has the touchscreen ordering stations and minimalist design inside.
